  1. Core summaries: Status, Needs and Outlooks
    • OCN:
      • Still testing GM and KPP for next release
      • Pools are implemented
        • Pools provide a 10-15% speedup relative to pre-pools implementation
        • Simulations after pools are bit-identical to pre-pools implementation
    • ATM:
      • Working on rewriting loops for bit-reproducible results
      • Would like to have streams attached to variables
      • Interested in splitting up registry files
    • LandIce:
      • Implemented pools
    • CICE:
      • Pools implemented
      • Advection has been implemented
  2. Release 3.0 Action Items:
    • Status of Pools in framework and cores
      • Land Ice, CICE, Ocean, SW cores converted to pools
      • ATM Cores are in the process of conversion
    • Status of multiple streams design document
      • Behind schedule
      • Depends strongly on pools for implementation
      • Could move forward with requirements, but cannot work on implementation

  3. Other items:
    • Workflow relative to ACME
      • Discuss possible workflows and issues on the May 19th low level telecon
    • Improvements in Framework / Cores
      • Paraview catalyst could be an example of this
