Ubiquiti mFi sensor checks for Icinga & Nagios

check_ubiquiti_mfi is an Icinga check script for Ubiquiti mFi devices. It is designed to inspect the output of the device’s ‘mca-dump` command and allow you to check each sensor with definable Icinga thresholds.

Current status: the temperature sensor on the Ubiquiti mFi-THS Temperature Sensor works. We’re looking to add support for motion detection on the Ubiquiti mFi-MSW Wall Mount Motion Sensor shortly.

Usage

check_ubiquiti_mfi [options]
where [options] are:
--json, -j <s>: Path to file containing JSON output of an mFi's `mca-dump`
--sensor, -s <s>: Sensor (supported: temp)
 --warning, -w <i>: Warning threshold (default: 27)
--critical, -c <i>: Critical threshold (default: 32)
--version, -v: Print version and exit
        --help, -h: Show this message

Examples

check_ubiquiti_mfi --json mca-dump-output.json --sensor temp -w 27 -c 32
