For modern systems (ie, those using systemd) users can configure cputopology
by:

cp cputopology /usr/sbin
cp cputopology.service /etc/systemd/system/
systemctl enable cputopology.service

which will run cputopology at boot time.

For older systems (ex, RHEL6 & initscripts), users can configure cputopology
by doing someting like
