NOTE: This is a preliminary document. Everything in here is subject to change without notice.
Mid 2014
The initial release of Final Term will officially support (i.e. work on, and ideally ship in the repositories of) the latest versions of the following distributions:
The required versions of the dependencies will be:
- GTK+ 3.10 (because of GtkHeaderBar)
- Clutter 1.12 (because of relevant deprecations)
- Mx 2.0 (if released in time; because of the ability to disable shading)
The only shell supported by this release will be bash.
NOTE: For issues associated with this release, see the initial release milestone.
The following currently unimplemented features are expected to be delivered with this release:
- Fully working terminal emulation
- Tabbed terminals
- Split terminals
- Terminal output selection / copy and paste
