docker-php

PHP docker image based on php:apache-bullseye.

Basic usage

ARG PHP_VERSION=8.1

FROM mpopowicz/php:${PHP_VERSION}-apache as base

# install dependencies, nodejs, etc.
# configure dev configurations (e.g opcache)

FROM base

WORKDIR /var/www/html
# copy application code, skipping files based on .dockerignore
COPY . /var/www/html

RUN composer install --optimize-autoloader --no-dev \
    && mkdir -p /var/www/html/storage/logs \
    && php artisan optimize:clear \
    && chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/html \
    && chmod -R 775 /var/www/html/storage
