AwesomeOS - AOS Main Repository of the Public Documentation and Parts for Enterprise Ask Frank

AOS is a general-purpose operating system, that can be built with the monolithic Linux kernel, The Mach Micro Kernel, The Zricon Fuchsia OS kernel, or any other Compatible Kernel that has C Binary Interop. Its package system allows you to quickly install, update and remove software; software is provided in binary packages or can be built directly from sources.

It is an independent distribution, developed entirely by Frank at present.

Unlike 99.99% of other existing distros, AwesomeOS is not a modification of an existing distribution. AwesomeOS is the first of Its Kind. As its package manager and build system Implementation, Unlike most Other distros, is independent it has no Affiliation to any of the Big Main Distros while our tooling works with any Linux, MacOS, Windows, Android, Fuchsia, LaCroOS, BSD, or Distribution.

Maybe you know out of the WInterOP World already a bit about sharedArray Buffers which are transferable to a so called Context/World a Context/World is something like a isolated System it got its own rules of execution and gets Manged by a Outer Component that instantiated it. This is called Capability based Permission Protocol Security and Handling. The Concept is Simple a Higher order Component that can be a Component Manager gets Some System Capabilitys to manage then this can be passed fully or partial to other Components that are instantiated by it. This is Comapreable To the Rust Memory Management Principels with the Brrrow Checker.

While we do that on Execution. All ECMAScript code gets Ignited by v8 thats the term for turning your ECMAScript into ASM and then Reference that via a C++ Tempalte Function. This Turns Your Code Into Nativ ASM that Runs inside its own Context/World for internal ipc we have the concept of so called Context Security ID's that are the same that get used internal in WebRTC Peer Sessions.

So we can work and operate even on Encrypted Memory. Pipelines Streams Tasks Databases Archives.

All The above a terms for the same thing in AwesomeOS as it trys to simplefiy Software Development and Execution even after the secund day. So a Query Able Task that holds access to some partial data set can act as Database you use it similar to kafka streams or other pipeline principels that you know from eg github. As any Context Exposes its handle and can take input and async return query results to multiple receivers this builds the fundation of the Quarternion SDK. Which exactly offers predefined greenfild patterns to expose Data via Streams out of a local or remote context in a Database Pipeline like fashion.

Usage

Everything from the boot to the end of everything that is loaded and running is a Stream that builds the Entry ComponentManager Implementation.

options are Optional but should be applyed in pipeTo(writable,options={})

The options that should be used when piping to the writable stream. Available options are:

{ preventClose: true } If this is set to true, the source ReadableStream closing will no longer cause the destination WritableStream to be closed. The method will return a fulfilled promise once this process completes, unless an error is encountered while closing the destination, in which case it will be rejected with that error.

{ preventAbort: ture } If this is set to true, errors in the source ReadableStream will no longer abort the destination WritableStream. The method will return a promise rejected with the source's error, or with any error that occurs during aborting the destination.

{ preventCancel: true } If this is set to true, errors in the destination WritableStream will no longer cancel the source ReadableStream. In this case the method will return a promise rejected with the source's error, or with any error that occurs during canceling the source. In addition, if the destination writable stream starts out closed or closing, the source readable stream will no longer be canceled. In this case the method will return a promise rejected with an error indicating piping to a closed stream failed, or with any error that occurs during canceling the source.

{ signal: abortController } If set to an AbortSignal object, ongoing pipe operations can then be aborted via the corresponding AbortController.
