subtle test

This is a set of benchmarks to test Go's standard library's constant time comparison.

The base string used for comparison is "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNO". All but one benchmark are named BenchmarkN, where N is the number of matching characters. BenchmarkMatch is a benchmark for matching strings.

To run it:

go test -test.bench='.+'
