This is the first official release of MDSynthesis. The library is in alpha, and not API stable, but it is ready for immediate use.

Alpha release: 0.5.0

This is an alpha release of MDSynthesis. Many of the core components are in a state that they can be used for daily work, but the APIs are not guaranteed to be stable, and there will be bugs. This release is intended to encourage usage so that bugs can be identified quickly and that new features can become the focus. Point releases (starting with 0.5.1) will follow bringing bugfixes and sanded rough-edges.
