Walkthrough

The changes in the Feedback.jsx file involve updating the paths for emoji and GIF resources used in the feedback form component. The paths have been modified from absolute to relative, simplifying the references to the image files. This adjustment affects the arrays that retrieve the images based on user ratings, while the overall logic for feedback submission and rendering remains unchanged.

There are 3 ways to chat with CodeRabbit:

  • Review comments: Directly reply to a review comment made by CodeRabbit. Example:
    • I pushed a fix in commit <commit_id>, please review it.
    • Generate unit testing code for this file.
    • Open a follow-up GitHub issue for this discussion.
  • Files and specific lines of code (under the "Files changed" tab): Tag @coderabbitai in a new review comment at the desired location with your query. Examples:
    • @coderabbitai generate unit testing code for this file.
    • @coderabbitai modularize this function.
  • PR comments: Tag @coderabbitai in a new PR comment to ask questions about the PR branch. For the best results, please provide a very specific query, as very limited context is provided in this mode. Examples:
    • @coderabbitai gather interesting stats about this repository and render them as a table. Additionally, render a pie chart showing the language distribution in the codebase.
    • @coderabbitai read src/utils.ts and generate unit testing code.
    • @coderabbitai read the files in the src/scheduler package and generate a class diagram using mermaid and a README in the markdown format.
    • @coderabbitai help me debug CodeRabbit configuration file.

Note: Be mindful of the bot's finite context window. It's strongly recommended to break down tasks such as reading entire modules into smaller chunks. For a focused discussion, use review comments to chat about specific files and their changes, instead of using the PR comments.

121-125: LGTM! Consider optimizing arrays.

The updated paths for GIFs are correct and consistent with the changes made to the emojis array. This change should contribute to resolving the icon loading issue in production.

Consider optimizing by combining emojis and gifs arrays since they contain identical paths:

const emojiPaths = [
  "/emoji1.gif",
  "/emoji2.gif",
  "/emoji3.gif",
  "/emoji4.gif",
  "/emoji5.gif",
];

const getEmoji = (ratingValue) => emojiPaths[ratingValue - 1] || "😐";
const getGif = (ratingValue) => emojiPaths[ratingValue - 1] || "/emoji3.gif";

This reduces redundancy and makes future updates easier.

Line range hint 1-224: Consider additional improvements for robustness and maintainability.

While the current changes address the immediate issue, consider the following suggestions for future improvements:

  1. Error handling: Add error handling for cases where GIFs fail to load.
  2. Accessibility: Ensure proper alt text for emoji images to improve accessibility.
  3. Configuration: Consider moving the emoji paths to a configuration file for easier management.
  4. Performance: Implement lazy loading for images to improve initial load time.

Would you like assistance in implementing any of these suggestions?

113-117: LGTM! Verify GIF files in public directory.

The updated paths for emoji GIFs look correct and align with the PR objectives. This change should resolve the issue of icons not loading in production.

Let's verify that these files have been moved to the public directory:

✅ Verification successful

All GIF files have been successfully verified in the public directory.

The emoji GIF files have been moved to the public directory as required. This update ensures that icons will load correctly in production.

🏁 Scripts executed

The following scripts were executed for the analysis:

Script:

#!/bin/bash
# Description: Verify that emoji GIFs exist in the public directory

# Test: Check if emoji GIFs exist in the public directory
fd -t f -e gif . public

Length of output: 115
