Thanks for the contribution @JustVic.

Unfortunately our bounty program has been expired for a long time, I didn't realize there were still issues marked as offering a bounty. The bcoin team has zero money to distribute and recently has lost its only major source of funding overall.

I also think this guide is a little off-topic actually and begging mining pools for money is just not technically appropriate content for bcoin.io.

However, we could use a more general guide on signing and verifying messages with bitcoin addresses and especially segwit P2WPKH addresses. Bcoin joins electrum in implementing message signing with P2WPKH addresses in a "naive" way, and it may be useful to have documentation about that.
