VM Problems
This page provides some tipps on how to solve issues with the VM.
It is likely that the Virtual Hard disk is 100% full. There are some tutorials on how to increase the size of the disk without creating a new one:
https://www.howtogeek.com/124622/how-to-enlarge-a-virtual-machines-disk-in-virtualbox-or-vmware/
As the operation is a little bit risky, it is recommended to make a Backup of the original VDI file before performing the explained steps.
If there is a swap partition (inside an extended one) which does not allow you to enlarge sda1
, you should be able to remove all other partitions (of the VM disk, NOT your Computer!!!). You may want to use GParted to perform this operation.
Question: Why is the VM Disk only 7.5GB large?
It is due to the max. upload file size on the GigaMove platform and to keep the download time low.
