Releases: LiEnby/FlashPatcher
FlashPatcher 1.7
- Added option to remove the "uninstall flash" nag message (shamelessly lifted some code from https://github.com/dahall/TaskScheduler to do this)
- Now scans C:\Windows\Sysnative to get around WOW64 redirection in 32 bit mode.
Completely remove the Jan 12 2021 timebomb from Adobe Flash Player
- Supports NPAPI, ActiveX and PPAPI versions
- Handles TrustedInstaller and other permission related issues automagically
- Added the ability to remove getUrl from Flash Player Content Projector (For Standalone Flash, NOT Browser plugin!)
Note: The ActiveX version is used by alot of desktop applications not just internet explorer
If you dont have flash player, you can still download the latest one from adobe's servers:
For Windows 10 ActiveX after KB4577586 run this batch script:

it should auto detect the installation files, just click "!!! DEFUSE THE BOMB !!!" to remove the timebomb from flash.
Notice about Antivirus;
this program makes use of many windows features that are generally considered 'suspicious' to antivirus;
notably, it uses the 'SeTakeOwnershipPrivledge', permissions api; and scheduled tasks;
it uses the Permissions APIs to change the owner of the flash executable files from "TrustedInstaller" to "Administrators"
so that it is able to modify these files; it makes use of the Scheduled Tasks API to remove the "Uninstall Flash Player" nag messages
both of these cause the program to often get detected as malicious by heuristics engines of anti-virus software;
