Guide Uploading Data to a Remote Server

In order to upload data to a remote server
- the connection between the project in the pseudonymised XNAT and the remote server has to be configured correctly as described in Setting up XSync
- the user performing the sync has to have the correct permissions as described in [Setting the roles for a new user](Admin%20Create and Edit Users#setting-the-roles-for-a-new-user).
Data must be uploaded to the remote server one session at a time.
Login to the pseudonymised XNAT with an account with suitable permissions (see above) and navigate to the session that you would like to synchronise.
At the top of the session page you will find a tab called Synchronisation. Once you select this, you can select Sync this session now as shown below.
To confirm that the data was sent correctly, you may want to login to the remote server defined for the project and see if the data was uploaded correctly.
