There are currently four kinds of resources in the Writer's Trail platform.

Those are any written work that want to keep track. If it's a novel or a monograph, it's up to you. Even if you don't have a particular target, you can add it as a project.

A classification tool. You may use it as real genres (by relying on the defaults or adding your own) or maybe as other sort of classification. You could use them to divide your works in "novels", "novellas" and "short stories". It's your call.

The writing sessions are the items you will have most. Try to have a lot of them as it means you wrote a lot. They are what increase the wordcount of projects and targets.

If you want to write a certain amount of words in a specific period of time, target is for you. They generate a nice chart to sum up your progress and are updated automatically with the data from your sessions.
