Describe the bug
The default host profile points NERSC user's to an installation of VisIt at
/global/cfs/cdirs/alpine/brugger/spack/opt/spack/linux-sles15-zen3/gcc-11.2.0/visit-3.3.3-gud54yyp44tv4gomn3i62wewdknpc2at/bin/visit
. This directory is not accessible to some users and therefore they are unable to launch VisIt.I don't think the other information is necessary, but if it is, please let me know and I'll add it.
In the meantime, we already have a working install at NERSC with directions in our docs. However, to avoid confusion for users it would be nice to discuss the best way to collaborate going forward.
