Measure Tool needs slight budge before showing big circle

The Viking Measure Tool has a big problem.
After we select it from the toolbar, we then click on the
screen to establish point A, and then move our mouse to point B...

OK, but do you notice that upon clicking on point A, nothing happens!
It is only after we move the mouse a tiny bit does the big circle appear!
It should appear right away!! Viking 1.10.

Not sure I'd describe it as a 'big' problem!

It seems to be an artifact of the original design/implementation.

However, I do agree it is better if it is shown right away - and this should be simple to do.
