Hi,

Thank you for sharing your work. It is very useful for my research.

I can't get the old version of GTAV instead I have the latest version from steam. I test this script and every times I press 'L' the game quit immediately. I then debugging the script found the problem is on the ucrtbase.dll. This file is not missing because I can find it in the system32 folder by installed the Windows Software Development Kit but may be the version is wrong. I wonder whether if you have some advice.

thank you very much.

Hi,
I installed a old version GTAV and another problem is the version of script hook V downloaded from the official page is too new to run under the old version game.
It is very hard to find such a old version of script hook V so I hope you can upload the right version script hook V that can run under GTAV 1.0.231.0.

Thank you.

I managed to get taking screenshots by pressing "L" working in the latest version from steam.
I just needed to use windowed version and disable the steam overlay.

@racinmat Hi racinmat, could you please tell me what windows version do you have? Win 8.1 or Win 10? I use Win 8.1 and the have the similar situation with yifenghuang. I am wondering if it's the windows version that accounts for this problem.

@PenroseWang I use windows 10, education version, and it works perfectly for me now.

@racinmat Hi racinmat, sorry to bother you again. Last week there were a version update for GTA V on steam, and it seems that GTAVisionExport (native) solution won't work on the new version. The building process has nothing to do with the version of the game and ScriptHookV, so I am just wondering that if the native solution will work on the new GTA V version 1.0.1365.1.

I am not sure. I try to block as many updates as possible. I use retail, non-steam version, and I know last week there was update which was kinda forced, it was applied before the autentication of my Rockstar Account, so I count not avoid it. But then there were some updates which I forbid (I run the game, login, wait for authentication to be done, and then kill it before updates are downloaded, and then run the game in offline mode where updates don't download), and the mod works perfectly for me.

It is very possible that after ScriptHookV update the mod would work, but IMHO better way is to keep older versions of the game. Only few files are being updated during the game, so you don't have to keep other versions of whole game, but only of few files. I also tried the steam version, where it works for me that I backup older version of some files, Steam does the update, then I replace updated files (after their backup) by their older versions and game runs perfectly, steam then does not want to update it again to the same version.
