It's the default port of the application (https://docs.paperless-ngx.com/setup/) It can probably be done, but using a reverse proxy is easier and better, as updates will most likely reverse your port changes. |

Ok, so i am a newb.
But i was thinking, since we are using a LXC or CT for one single application like paperless-ngx. Why not map it to port 80 instead of port 8000?
If i was using docker i could use port 80 for paperless--ngx.
Can this be done or do i have to learn how to use a proxy manager to use local DNS like paperless.local for example.
