copy on select not working in safari #909

Describe the bug
When selecting text the scissor overlay pops up but the selected text is not copied.

Expected behavior
The selected text should be copied to the system clipboard.

Environment:

OS: [e.g. macOS 12.3 (21E230)]
Browser: [e.g. Safari Version 15.4 (17613.1.17.1.6)]

Additional context
The copy on select feature works as expected in Chrome.
