Most recently I have been improving FreeBSD src and FreeBSD ports. I also have been trying to cross pollinate tools like GRUB and IPXE with U-Boot on embedded ARM systems like the Raspberry Pi.

I have also done custom enhancements to pfSense recently. I also hack on MBED and Arduino hardware.

A couple of years ago when I had more free time I was maintaining 40 FreeBSD ports.

I'd really like to see VS code improved so it supported remote FreeBSD development.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could have millions of Raspberry Pi's netboot into a huge distributed IOT wonderland?

This would be paying for my current child support. This number is mostly symbolic because it's actually how much I pay in child support a month now. I think it would be great to put this money into something like a small boat so that the kids would get the opportunity to appreciate the great variety of water sports available in Georgia such as fishing, kayaking, or sailing.

This money could also go toward paying for private school.

Maybe you just want to make my life easier because I'm really struggling with life. I'm struggling with recently becoming a single dad like many other people out there. Shuffling the kids back and forth every other weekend can tear a person apart from the inside. Chronic kidney stones usually cause me to have to pay my medical out of pocket max every year.

This sponsorship level would significantly improve the lives of myself and my children. It would also open up the door to being able to start a new family with more children.
