Hello rusticeans,
there is a new feature in the pipeline: Hooks. Hooks are commands that are run during certain events in the application lifecycle. They can be used to run custom scripts or commands before or after certain actions.

We have just merged the corresponding PR and would like to get some early feedback. If you want to be an early adopter, you can try out the feature from a nightly build here: https://github.com/rustic-rs/nightly/tree/main/rustic

The documentation (WIP, feedback welcome as well) you can find in our user docs and in the config docs.
