my server reboots daily, it starts back up in under 30 seconds, however other servers often do not reconnect
maybe stream management may help here

prosody appears to have this experimentally, but does enable it by default

Something needs to be done, I end up disconnected a lot of times during the day from the OP server hosted MUCs. :(
