Comparison between after change and direct change for store value

Hi. I'm wondering, how can I get the immidiate value changes in the store? I have done a bit comparison between "way of getting" the data like below:

In my case, handleFetch will be executed after I change the value of "filter" in the store like:

setFilterData({ value here });
handleFetch({});

But as the console.log says, the only method that listen to the change immidiately is useDatatableAsync.getState().filter. I'm wondering, is there any better way to do the same thing as getState() does? Thanks! Love this package. Best state management ever.

.getState() is the right way to get the latest value in a callback.
