Maintainer disappeared, I'll collect fixes meanwhile

Nick did a really good job with picocom, but sadly, there was no activitiy for 4 years despite valid bug reports and pull requests. I hope all is good on his side. To have a known good codebase again, I'll collect fixes and minor improvements (and will probably make a release 3.2.) here: https://github.com/wsakernel/picocom

If Nick comes back, I'll happily withdraw again, of course. Until then, let's get the bugs out of the way.
