What makes these images different from those of this project?

1. Multi-arch: linux/amd64, linux/arm64/v8
   ℹ️ Runs on Apple M series using Docker Desktop.
2. Base image: Debian instead of Ubuntu
   ℹ️ Upcoming: CUDA-enabled images are Ubuntu-based.
3. IDE: code-server next to JupyterLab
   ℹ️ code-server = Code - OSS in the browser.
4. Just Python – no Conda / Mamba

GPU accelerated 'MAX Engine'-based images will be published as soon as the MAX Engine supports Python 3.12 and NVIDIA GPUs.

The Mojo SDK License Terms (Last Modified: Feb 29th, 2024) state

[...] use the SDK and accompanying Documentation (as defined below), as made available at
https://docs.modular.com, solely for the purpose of developing, testing, and publishing software applications in test,
non-production environments ("Applications") that integrate with, interact with, or otherwise utilize the provided
functionality of the SDK. This license does not grant Licensee the right to distribute the SDK or any part thereof to
third parties, except as expressly stated otherwise herein. For the avoidance of doubt, Licensee may under no circumstances
redistribute the SDK itself outside of any Applications. [...]

The JupyterLab Mojo docker stack [images] provide the Mojo SDK¹ at /opt/modular (MODULAR_HOME) in conjunction with JupyterLab and code-server (aka Code - OSS in the browser) as IDEs solely for the purpose of of developing, testing, and publishing software applications in test, non-production environments ("Applications").
