Bug description

Can't run magic shell after installing everything on my Mac

Steps to reproduce

Follow these instructions to a tee on Mac M3: https://docs.modular.com/max/get-started
At the end, when I ran magic shell, I get this error:

System information

- What OS did you do install MAX on ? Mac M3, Sequoia 15.0
- Provide version information for MAX by pasting the output of max -v`: 24.5.0
- Provide version information for Mojo by pasting the output of mojo -v`: 24.5.0
- Provide Modular CLI version by pasting the output of `modular -v`: command not found

Magic doesn't work for me, either.

Thanks for reporting! What's your magic --version? the last 0.3.0 is known to have an issue with PyPI packages so I suggest to revert to magic self-update --version 0.2.3.

@IgorGanapolsky those are magic shell logs. What error message or unexpected behaviour do you get when running magic shell?

@danny-su That's strange! can you also do the revert and magic clean and let me know?
