Version support for requirements.txt

When requirements.txt file is opened, it is detected as pip requirements file, it would be awesome if there was a dropdown of versions available for the package like the support in maven in vscode

In what situations? What would you expect for operators that don't necessarily need/want the full version, e.g. >=? And how would you specify what index you wanted to be queried for version completion? And what to do for repos we can't reach because they are private and require an access token that you have not given VS Code?

For initial implementation we can support == and for index https://pypi.org/simple/ , and only public repos would be available for it .
