Why does the 'Softmax' layer have a bottom linked to 'norm2' instead of 'fc9_1'? Is this correct?

I think I see what you are doing - classifying to the 997 classes (identities) output by the 'fc9' layer.
Does this mean that the 'fc9_1' layer shown in the deploy.prototxt is not needed when running in deploy mode?
