For initial analysis of low-cost sensors dataset, and save to database

Breakdown:

  • Download selected miniSEED waveforms (5 earthquakes, 3 stations per earthquake, BHZ+BHN+BHE)
  • Read miniSEED metadata
  • Read miniSEED waveform
  • Visualize waveform
  • 1. Differentiate from displacement/velocity into acceleration
  • 2. Attenuate (based on linear distance from hypocenter)
  • 3. Add noise - different levels of noise
  • Save to miniSEED metadata+waveform
  • Technical documentation

Sprints: 2-3
