Scans all files periodically #412

Thanks for opening your first issue here! Be sure to follow the relevant issue templates, or risk having this issue marked as invalid. |
Could you post your docker run please? That's going to be more helpful. Though this is less a container issue, more a question for Plex. You might have something controlling Plex that's making that --scan option. |
I apologize for my ignorance, but could you elaborate? I didn't install with a docker run command. I'm using unraid and installed through the Unraid app store using the settings attached in the "expected behavior" section. |
Unraid gives you the docker run each time you deploy/make an edit for to containers. |
docker run The command finished successfully! **NOTE: removed claim number |
I'm not sure if this matters, but because I unchecked all of the autoscan/periodic scan features inside of Plex, I have the following programs notify Plex of any file changes or scan the database. These seem to work, because I have seen them trigger a single file scan. I'm just seeing complete scans all the time of Movies, Tv Shows, Music...etc. Also, database/files are local via Nvme or jbod, not remote. Tautuli (scans) |
Disable those apps and see if you're still getting the issue. |
Is there an existing issue for this?
Current Behavior
Plex Server scans complete Movie, TV folder etc. despite all boxes being unchecked for the autoscan under Library settings. I have all of my external programs notifying Plex of changes, which seems to work well, but everytime I check Plex, it is scanning entire libraries. If anyone has a experienced this or has a fix, please advise.
