Just to update publicly on some ideas we are currently discussing. The /me endpoint generally displays elements that belong to the currently logged in users and can therefore display content from multiple different backends.
There are currently two backends that can provide user data (grapi can get users from Kopano or an LDAP), with a third soo to be added with the planned api for idm.
How should backends best advertise which endpoints and kinds of elements they can handle? Should the backends also be able to set a priority if multiple backends can provide the same kind of information (e.g. when using both idm and grapi with LDAP, which should respond to requests first)?
We are thinking of working with discovery documents placed below .well-known to provide an easy integration between the backends and liga as the api gateway.
