Issue with cmp

Hi, I recently wanted to switch from CoC to the native lsp and I figured I would use your plugin since I really like the philosophy it proposes.

I'm having issues setting up the completion.
As far as I understood, I need a plugin like cmp-nvim-lsp for that, so I added it to the requirements

then I run :PackerSync and added the capabilities to the plugin setup

From :PackerStatus I can see that cmp-nvim-lsp is indeed installed on ~/.local/share/nvim/site/pack/packer/start/cmp-nvim-lsp. If I uninstall cmp-nvim-lsp the error stops showing up.

What am I doing wrong?

nvim-lsp-setup integration cmp-nvim-lsp by default, you just need to install cmp-nvim-lsp, which will auto advertise capabilities to LSP servers, you should remove capabilities from setup.

It's fine for me. You need to check :CmpStatus, :LspInfo and :LspInstallInfo.

In a Clojure file, running :CmpStatus shows

You can try opening a file on contains .git dir.

You need using preset mapping, cmp.mapping.preset.insert on cmp.setup.

cmp.setup({
    mapping = cmp.mapping.preset.insert()
})

You should not confuse the configuration of cmp and lsp-setup, lsp-setup does not provide a way to configure cmp. :)

Thanks, using your config helped me a lot. Reading that nvim-lsp-setup had a mapping option got me confused into thinking that was what I needed to set
