Would you ever allow for interactivity, reason I ask is I don't see it in the colab tutorial, thanks.

What kind of interactivity do you mean ?

Currently builtin Observable Plot JavaScript interactivity is possible when generating widgets, as shown here:

Otherwise Jupyter interactivity is also available, as described here 👍
