DOSBox-X translations 💬🌍 #2820
Comments
I am currently working on Turkish translations. |
Current language files available: Chinese (Simplified) language file: contrib/translations/zh/zh_CN.lng Chinese (Traditional) language file: contrib/translations/zh/zh_TW.lng French language file: contrib/translations/fr/fr_FR.lng German language file: contrib/translations/de/de_DE.lng Japanese language file: contrib/translations/ja/ja_JP.lng Korean language file: contrib/translations/ko/ko_KR.lng Portuguese (Brazilian) language file: contrib/translations/pt/pt_BR.lng Spanish language file: contrib/translations/es/es_ES.lng Turkish language file: contrib/translations/tr/tr_TR.lng |
The Korean language file is now available (which is the last CJK language option). As a result, all CJK languages now have their language files. Hope more translations will be added too of course. |
Could you leave out Russian and add Ukrainian instead? |
Surely the majority would agree that deleting Putin's But politicizing a translation file for all users? This would be a form of linguistic discrimination (also called glottophobia or linguicism) as it punishes those solely based on the language they speak, and nothing more (similar to punishing someone solely for the color of their skin). |
Well said.

Surely the majority would agree that deleting Putin's ru.lng file from
his DOSBox installation would be justified, the next time he lets you
administer his PC.

(similar to punishing someone sole for the color of their skin).

Well said indeed. Putin is not the same as all Russian users. |
Hello, I thought that this project could use translations for other languages, including:
Arabic
Esperanto
German
Italian
