InstantView itself does not collect any data. However, since InstantView uses the YouTube Data API, the YouTube terms of services and Google privacy policy both apply to users.

If you choose to sign in to InstantView with your Google account, the Google OAuth token used to perform actions on behalf of your YouTube account (rate videos, subscribe to channels) will be saved locally on your computer until it expires.
If you choose to sign in to InstantView with your Google account:
- The OAuth token provided by Google is used to perform YouTube actions, such as rate and subscribe, on behalf of your YouTube account.
