The interaction of the cocktail of goliath, eventmachine, sockets and metaprogrammed loggers cause vcd-server to segfault under heavy load. This appears to be tied into the patch version of ruby we are running.

Installing ruby 1.9.3p448 seems to have done the trick for now...
