Running Command Prompt (MS-DOS) "breaks" Windows 95 with garbled blue pixels. #50
Comments
I am having this problem as well on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) |
I have that too on MacOS. |
For msdos, just click the screen, it will get back to desktop and reopen msdos from the bottom bar, works fine |
This does not work for me |
I’m not entirely sure what’s actually breaking - if anyone has any ideas, I’d love to hear them! |
After running command.com from the start menu, use Alt-Enter to make it "full screen" (as far as Windows 95 is concerned). This should restore the display from the garbled mess you see and allow you to access the command prompt. Press Alt-Enter again to leave full screen and go back to a window mode. |
