Using the macOS app on an M1 MacBook Pro. I was upset because I immediately found the 3D space shooter game and had to play, seconds into starting the app. It's fun for about three minutes. There doesn't appear to be a way to close it. I even tried sending a ctrl+alt+delete (really taking me back, as a Mac user for over a decade) signal through the menu. The screen just went white and then went back to the game.
I tried closing the app and reopening. Took me back to the game. I tried sending the app to the trash and then re-decompressing the zip to start the app from a new instance of it. It went directly to the game. I tried deleting the zip and redownloading it. Took me back to the game.
I don't even know where the persistence is coming from. I have not tried rebooting, because it isn't that important. But figured you should know.
For the two seconds I actually was able to use the OS, it really took me back to being 12 years old when we got our first Windows 95 PC.
