If the INI is referencing the P.IO packaged version of the core then it's about 6 months out of date since they stopped accepting uploads. Then it could still be trying to grab the older TinyUSB with the very deep directory structure (and 2GB of unused patch files). |

That would be a problem but we've referenced direct arduino-pico git links for a very long time so, so actually the PIO registry packaged is not used anymore (https://github.com/maxgerhardt/platform-raspberrypi/blob/develop/platform.json#L46-L51). It could be the case that the user has an outdated version of the platform though, in which I recommend @jtremolo to delete all folders of the form |

Wow so actually the mistake was visible in the topmost post of @lhm0 too. They wrote [env:pico]
platform = https://github.com/earlephilhower/arduino-picobut it must be [env:pico]
platform = https://github.com/maxgerhardt/platform-raspberrypi.gitThis is also stated in the documentation. |

Dear all,
I am trying to install the arduino-pico platform in Visual Studio Code with platformIO. Unfortunately, installation aborts with lengthy error messages. I have no idea, what the root course might be and what I can do.
Here is my platformio.ini file:
Please find below the installation log including the error messages. (sorry, it is lengthy).
There are two error messages in German:
Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden ==> system cannot find given path
Das Verzeichnis ist nicht leer: ==> folder is not empty
Please help me out!
