The problem is probably due to us changing the WCA api without notice.

The issue of not being able to add staff remains an issue. See Utah Fall Championship 2016. I've been trying to add Michael Young as a Staff member (even went so far as to make him a site admin), but no luck. Also, there seems to be a slight bug with checkboxes and assigning duties to staff--video attached
