Confusing messaging in START/STOP bottomsheet when proxy is active and proxy not working

also saw post about 1.5k$, if I use other dns providers liks dnscrypt are you still paying?i don't think most people would mind switching,mind baffling ur paying out of pocket,its a lot of money in india

Think we show this wrong message when Rethink is in VPN Lockdown mode (aka Android's Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN is turned ON). What it means to say is, one can't change "modes" when Rethink is in VPN Lockdown. We'll fix this in the upcoming version, v055o.

True, but we're confident in two things: Bringing down costs & making money to sustain it (either via donations / sponsorships / paid plans). We keep continue to keep the lights on on personal dime right now because it has been wildly popular (because it works when other resolvers don't) in certain countries with pervasive Internet censorship, and this project's entire raison d'etre is exactly that: Anti-censorship. Would be comical if we back off just as it achieves its goals (:

i do know about the issue if rethink is set to always on/kill switch but as you can see its not for me

also i didnt understand, if i use dnscrypt it wont bill u? and i dont think asking users to switch would be that bad as dnscrypt and odoh have decent reputations, also which alternative dns would u recommend dnscrypt/odoh, which resolver etc.
