If you want to merge content under one tag under another tag, the tag synonyms feature doesn't divert the tag's followers.

Describe the solution you'd like

Added tag merge feature for admin and moderator. After merging, the questions and followers of the source tag are also transferred under the new tag.

A synonym between these two tags will be created after merging.

@fenbox how would this feature work? would this merge feature only be accessible to administrators. or can users also merge tags into others. and after merging a tag, should the old tag still be displayed or should it be rewritten by the new tag?

@prithvidasgupta Merge feature accessible to admins and moderators. After merging, the old tag will become become synonyms. Display and access rules are all consistent with synonyms.
