Literaturverzeichnis und Fußnoten werden im Englischen nicht erkannt #261

Hi, meine Fußnoten und das Literaturverzeichnis sehen komplett sauber aus, solange das Dokument auf Deutsch ist.
Stelle ich es auf Englisch um, indem ich diese Zeile einkommentieren: \def\FOMEN{}
werden alle Referenzen nicht mehr erkannt. Die Fußnoten sehen dann bspw. so aus: "Siderska2023EmployeesCompanies"
und das Literaturverzeichnis verschwindet komplett und soll "leer" sein.

Hat da vielleicht jemand eine Idee?
