It's like we are not getting the cache device performance. Instead we are seeing more or less the same performance as the backing device. This is the lsblk:
This is our setup:
And versions:
We are using random io fio:
Raw backing device performance mounted in /mnt:
Raw caching device performance mounted in /mnt:
And now with the writeboost cache mounted. This is /etc/writeboosttab:
And this are the fio results when cache mounted at /mnt:
And
sar -d 1
