Clicking a filter 2-3 times breaks the page. #9

Hi Neil, I found that when a user clicks the same filter 3 times then the app displays no results for the events. I am trying to fix this, please let us know if you have a solution.

I also would love to refresh the events list when a user adds/updates/removes and event. What would be the correct way of doing that?
