According to Kawafumi on Discord: "an interesting suggestion regarding layered charts, similar to how Routine currently works I believe, but I don't think it is required to replicate regular k-pump charts accurately. PIU's engine does have a layered scoring system that is used for certain mission/quest charts, however, and StepPrime managed to replicate it."
