What happened?

qemu ga(guest agent) not working

"manually stopped" is displayed betweed 2~14 seconds, even though the permissions issue for that package has been resolved

Reproduction steps

  1. run a guest agent package
  2. wait a 2~14 seconds
  3. displayed "manually stopped"

Hi @kmw0410, QEMU hasn't been published in our repository yet, but there were previous discussions about adding it. You might find helpful insights in the comment on issue #6152.

Are you using rr or Arc? What is the Proxmox version number?

Generally, these two bootloaders will automatically load the built-in driver after startup, and the system will have the file: /dev/vport1p1. If it does not appear, it is useless to continue to load the driver from the package.

This requires more test samples to find the cause.

The current suggestion is: delete the serial port added when the virtual machine is created. Try it to see if it works.

despite the presence of /dev/vport1p1, it still doesn't seem to work
