abstract = {The method of similar operators [1, 2, 3] is used to investigate
spectral properties of a certain class of matrices in the context
of graphs [4, 5]. Specifically, we consider the adjacency matrix
of an “almost-complete graph”. Then we generalize the result to
allow the matrices obtained as combinations of the Kronecker
products [6, 7] and the small-norm perturbations. We derive the
estimates of the spectra and the eigenvectors of such matrices.},

abstract = { Consumer-level depth cameras and depth sensors embedded in
mobile devices enable numerous applications, such as pose
tracking and face identification. However, the quality of the
captured depth is sometimes insufficient for 3D reconstruction
and computer vision tasks. In this paper, we propose a
self-supervised depth denoising approach that uses unsynchronized
streams coming from a pair of consumer-level depth sensors to
refine both of them. We record simultaneous sequences with a pair
of lower- and higher-quality RGB-D cameras, carefully align them
both temporally and spatially, and learn a deep neural network to
denoise the lower-quality data using the higher-quality sensor as
a source of supervision signal. Notably, we then use the same
dataset and learn to upsample and refine higher-quality depth. We
experimentally validate our method against state-of-the-art
filtering-based and deep denoising techniques and show its
application for 3D object reconstruction tasks where our approach
leads to more detailed fused surfaces. },
