My "donor" NPC's facegen is not in a BSA，and it‘s in loose files. I chose two npc from different esp. When I run the patch，It shows“Could not find donor NPC xxx，”

I'm honestly a bit confused about what's going on in the top screenshot. Both "Copy From" and "Copy To" have the exact same FormKey (0012CA:Kathleen Follower.esp) - how are they showing two different EditorIDs? Whatever is causing that is probably also causing the failure.

Also would like to add that I had this issue as well however I was able to fix it by deleting the plugin (Synthesis.esp), move all plugins that I intend patching above any synthesis patches, move any mod that have the npcs appearances I wish to swap above any synthesis output folder (MO2) , create a new group in synthesis solely for this patcher (Synthesis - NPC Appearance Copier) to keep is separate when I need to run other patchers. After all that works like a charm.

Tip: Delete the plugin that have been created prior to reusing the patcher otherwise this error appears.
