In order to run TC tracking within MDTF we require at least the following output fields at 6hrly or finer temporal resolution: sea-level pressure, near-surface wind speeds (generally 10m wind speed) and an upper-level temperature variable (either Z300-Z500, Z200-Z500 or T400).
We need to make sure that the TempestExtremes code compiles on the desired test systems.
The eventual goal will be to allow users to run TempestExtremes to track cyclones in their data, then run CyMEP (https://github.com/zarzycki/cymep/) on the data to produce POD outputs.
